Known for their high quality manufacturing, these Canvas All Star J Hi and Canvas All Star OX from the Made in Japan editions does not look at all different from the general releases on the current market. However, the subtle yet important Made in Japan marking on the heel patch and foot bed will communicate to discerning customers of its rarity. Eazy-E + Ol’ Dirty Bastard Hologram Performance at Rock The Bells 2013 | Video Posted: 10 Sep 2013 05:00 AM PDT When Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg resurrected Tupac in a hologram form at last year’s Coachella, the crowd went nuts at the very realistic show. Since then, rumors have flown around for the resurrection of many fallen MCs. At this year’s Rock The Bells tour, attendees were greeted by not one, but two hologram performances, which did justice for both deceased rappers. Wu-Tang Clan, brought Ol' Dirty Bastards to life, while Eazy-E shared the limelight with Bone Thungs-N-Harmony. Although, the hologram costs are said to be astronomical, we might be able to see more hologram performances in the near future from high profile artists that left us too early. Porsche 918 Spyder – Officially Unveiled Posted: 10 Sep 2013 01:00 AM PDT Teaser after teaser, the anticipation has been building from the German automaker, Porsche, on their much-anticipated hybrid sports car, 918 Spyder. Timed perfectly with the opening on the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013, Porsche planned to unveil the vehicle to the world. Delivering 608 horsepower and 286-horsepower respectively from a combination of 4.6-liter V8 engine and three electronic motors, the drop top coupe pushes around 887 horsepower. Performance wise, the Spyder can hit 62mph in 2.8 seconds, 124mph in 7.7 seconds, and 186mph in 22 seconds. For daily driving though, the electronic motor can run up to 93mph, which translates to roughly 10 – 20 miles per charge on normal driving. Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 B63S | By BRABUS Posted: 10 Sep 2013 12:00 AM PDT BRABUS created a beast out of Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 for the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. By beast, we mean it pumps out 700 horsepower through all six wheels, thanks to the tuned 5.5-liter Twin Turbo V8 engine. Practicality for driving urban terrain aside, the B63S 700 is packed with 960 Nm of torque, and can produce top speed of 100 mph, which is electronically speed limited. Stand still to 100 km/h is reached in just 7.4 seconds, a pretty good time for a four-ton vehicle on 37-inch off-road rubbers. On the inside however, this 6×6 does not feel like an off-road vehicle, as the trim was revamped in bright red color. Scroll down the page to have a closer look at the beast. Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna LE Concept Car Posted: 09 Sep 2013 09:00 PM PDT At next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, Maserati will unveil a stylish take on the new Quattroporte sedan, one designed with the help of luxury menswear label Ermenegildo Zegna. The defining exterior feature is a special platinum paint job that “simulates the fluidity and purity of metal,” using aluminum flecks and a gloss-black primer for an extra depth of color. The material interplay between classic and contemporary is seen in the interior as well, where the various components are crafted in premium soft leather and velvet smooth fabric in a matching hue. A.P.C. x Carhartt Wristwatch | Teaser Posted: 09 Sep 2013 08:00 PM PDT A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou has taken to Twitter to give us a preview of what’s to come from his brand’s ongoing partnership with Carhartt WIP. The teaser image depicts a collaborative military wristwatch, one appointed with a brushed steel case containing a grey dial with white indices and a contrast yellow second hand, topped off with a fused A.P.C. and Carhartt logo. A neutral grey nylon wristband rounds out the details. Like the apparel pieces we’ve previously seen from the two names, the timepiece is functional, minimalist and easy to wear. Red Wing Heritage x Barneys – North American Exclusives Posted: 09 Sep 2013 07:00 PM PDT Previously available only in Japan, the 9022 and 9023 models of the Red Wing Heritage Beckman Boots have launched for the first time in North America. The boots, available exclusively at Barneys, are crafted from Red Wing’s own heavyweight Settler leather — a traditional full grain cattle hide — in either a Brick or Walnut hue. As part of the launch, Red Wing invited Jesse Lenz and Jay Guillon of The Coveted Man to visit Red Wing’s Minnesota factory and S.B.
