mastermind JAPAN x New Era – 59FIFTY Cap Posted: 09 Aug 2013 06:00 AM PDT The amount of products launched from mastermind JAPAN indicates that there must be much more collaboration projects awaiting release. Though its main line has finished this August, collaboration items are still making its way onto the market. The latest project to be unveiled is this 59FIFTY fitted cap with New Era, featuring the iconic skull logo and D-ring on the visor. Although, fans might expect them to use all black colors, this cap is finished off in a Yankees-like navy and white color scheme. Look out for this cap at mastermind JAPAN stores from end of this month.

GoPro x Ken Block – X-Games Gymkhana Preview with Nick Swardson | Video Posted: 09 Aug 2013 05:00 AM PDT Ken Block recently gave fans in Tokyo a taste of his gymkhana mayhem in Tokyo Experience, and it seems Mr. Block is doing the same to Los Angeles at the recent X-Games event. GoPro and Block teamed up to give actor/comedian, Nick Swardson, a front seat view on what it feels like to drive on a tight gymkhana course at Irwindale Speedway. Luckily, Swardson contained himself and refrained from screaming like a girl, but he comes close at the end of the video. Watch the full video of the course preview by Block in his AWD Ford Fiesta underneath.

Casio G-Shock GW-9400 RANGEMAN Watch – New Addition to Master of G Collection Posted: 09 Aug 2013 12:00 AM PDT FROGMAN, MUDMAN, GULFMAN, RISEMAN… Casio G-Shock’s quartet known as MASTER of G will be getting a new addition this year, in the form of the RANGEMAN. Officially known as the Casio G-Shock GW-9400 RANGEMAN watch, designers created the new timepiece with military personnel and first responders in mind.
Thanks to recent advancements, Casio was able to produce even smaller electronic components, making the RANGEMAN one of the first to employ the new Shock Resistant Triple Sensor technology. With it, the watch can determine temperature, atmospheric pressure (accurate within 1 meter per second), along with the usual functions like 48-City World Time + UTC (universal coordinated time), 1000-hr stopwatch, 24-hr countdown timer, 12/24-hr time formats, and more… Again, because of the extreme condition users of RANGEMAN will be under, Casio made all of the real-time data points available through the watch’s one-touch direct sensor button. Constructed of metal, with an oversized, textured surface, the watch’s design ensures accessibility of information even with a gloved hand. Rated to be waterproof under 200 meters (656 feet), the RANGEMAN employs Casio’s TOUGH SOLAR charging system and Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping that automatically adjust time/date through wireless signals from US Government’s Fort Collins, Colorado facility and 5 other transmission stations around the globe. To come in stealth black (Casio G-Shock GW-9400-1 RANGEMAN) and army green (Casio G-Shock GW-9400-3 RANGEMAN), the newest member to the MASTER of G Collection will be available starting November 2013. Release Date: November 2013

Nike KD 6 “NYC 66″ – Total Orange | Release Info Posted: 08 Aug 2013 10:00 PM PDT The “NYC 66″ title of this upcoming Nike KD 6 is a dead giveaway in terms of the shoe’s inspiration: the August 2011 debut of Kevin Durant at New York City's Rucker Park, in which the OKC All-Star drained nine of eleven threes, on his way to a 66-point scoring barrage. The low-top kicks are rendered in eye-catching orange throughout the Flywire-infused upper and Zoom-equipped midsole, along with hits of contrast armory slate at the Swoosh, KD logo and outsole. Check out the detailed looks below, and expect the kicks to hit select Nike Basketball retailers like Sneaker Lounge starting August 17th. Release Date: August 17th, 2013 (Saturday)

Posted: 08 Aug 2013 09:00 PM PDT Could it possibly be true? Is the Impossible Project App finally available? Why, yes! It is! As far as innovations go, the Impossible Project has garnered quite a buzz for its ability to bridge the gap between the analog and digital world. The much anticipated app is the missing link that will integrate this craziness into our daily lives. That’s why we are more than thrilled to announce that the app is now available for iOS 6.0 (or later) and can be download via the Apple iTunes store for free. Yup, fo FREE. So what exactly does the app do, you ask? Well, it works like this: Once the Instant Lab is released for purchase, the user merely places the iPhone onto the machine while the app is loaded, thus allowing the two devices to seamlessly interact with each other to transform any digital photo into a real analog instant pic. Pretty cool, huh? The process completely eliminates the need for a flatbed scanner, thus making such a task into an “anywhere, on-the-go” activity. Did we mention that it takes just seconds to scan? In less time than it takes to nuke a bean burrito in your microwave, you can have a tangible, instant pic fresh in your hands. The Impossible Project App even links directly to a gallery on which you can comment and upload images straight from your iPhone. You can even order more film through the app! With so many features built into the program, you’ll be asking yourself if there’s anything that the team behind the Impossible Project App could have possibly forgotten. (And as of now, nothing really.)

Black Scale – Fall/Winter 2013 Collection Lookbook | Video Posted: 08 Aug 2013 08:00 PM PDT The cycle of the seasons sees life begin to slow down, the days get shorter, and trees to begin to shed their leaves as we move into Fall and Winter. For their Fall/Winter 2013 collection, Black Scale returns to focus on these concepts of beauty amid life and death as seen in their latest Lookbook Video. Titled “Life and Beauty,” the line skirts the boarder between somber and Gothic mixed with the underlying vein of life and energy across the collection’s paisley and stained glass patterns, snakeskin and leopard prints, and much more across the jackets, pull-overs, button-downs, and pants. Nearly four minutes long, the lookbook features Bradley Soileau and showcases the best of the California-based brand to-date, including the colorful take on Mona Lisa. The Fall/Winter 2013 Collection from Black Scale will be dropping soon at their select retailers and online. © pmallory for FreshnessMag, 2013. | Permalink | No comment | Follow us: Facebook | Twitter The post Black Scale – Fall/Winter 2013 Collection Lookbook | Video appeared first on FreshnessMag. |
Triumph Bonneville Scrambler | by FCR Posted: 08 Aug 2013 07:00 PM PDT You may not have heard of the French custom motorcycle team at FCR, but after taking a look at what they created with the Triumph Bonneville Scrambler body, it’s safe to say they are now firmly planted on the map. The Triumph Scrambler always had a rugged personality, built with an eye toward hybrid on- and off-road riding, but FCR takes it to the next level with a high-mounted exhaust, off road tires, and a wider handle bar set to help you tackle any terrain you encounter. If that wasn’t enough to get your blood pumping and your heart racing, FCR decided to coat this animal with an army green paint paired with a leather seat and black wheels, capping off the masculine, rugged aesthetic. We’ve got more preview images of this FCR-tuned Triumph Bonneville Scrambler after the click, but feel free to head to the FCR website to learn more about their work. © pmallory for FreshnessMag, 2013. | Permalink | One comment | Follow us: Facebook | Twitter The post Triumph Bonneville Scrambler | by FCR appeared first on FreshnessMag. |
