Therefore, it makes sense that Reebok would work with the premier retailer for their 30th anniversary collection. While most collaborators opted for low cut sneakers, atmos is changing up the pace by picking the mid cut Classic Leather Mid R12 silhouette. As a slightly flamboyant brand, this military-inspired piece seems to be understated compared to their usual collaboration projects. Rest assured, there is a glow-in-the-dark mesh applied to the rear of the sneakers, and 3M accents weaved inside the round shoelaces. These kicks will be available at select Reebok distributors worldwide from this Saturday, August 10, including Canada’s Livestock. Because of all the interests Casio G-Chock decided to update this timeless classic for the brand’s 30th Anniversary. Officially unveiled at last night’s Casio G-Chock “Shock The World 2013″ event in New York City, the new GD-X6900 isn’t just a larger version of the 6900, it is also considerably better with a complete re-design both inside and out. As a way to highlight the GD-X6900′s importance among the G-Shock product line, Casio collaborated with hip-hop artist EMINEM on a special edition, the EMINEM x Casio G-Shock GD-X6900MNM. Donned in a black on black color scheme, the GD-X6900MNM features EMINEM’s signature reverse “E” in red on the dial face along with a red skyline of downtown Detroit, EMINEM’s hometown, on the band. Like all other special G-Shocks, Casio created a matte black caseback for watch with a “Shady” autograph etched on. Preduce X SBTG – “Asphalt Surfers” Deck Series Posted: 07 Aug 2013 06:00 PM PDT Preduce, the first Thai skateboarding company, will be releasing a collection of noteworthy skate decks, hardware, t-shirts, hats, and pants created in collaboration with Singaporean artist Mark “SBTG” that will be titled “Asphalt Surfers”. SBTG’s affiinity to skulls is expressed in the decks’ creative illustrations, each one depicting an individual story from the Preduce team. “Mr. Sabotage” shows a man smoking, “Ryan Sripeasatja” has a cowboy girl singing, “Geng Jakkarin” boasts a cheerleader, “Leo Anzevul” displays a waitress with concession goods, “Lert Saeri” touts glasses overflowing with beer, “Tao Kitpullap” reveals an avid card player, and “Kyle Brown” shows his background with a helpful nurse. The art is meant to encompass a memory of each member’s hometown and each one’s life outside from skateboarding. The decks are the essence of the collection and there are seven of them in total. Loud, bright colorways are employed in the design, such as pink, orange, green, blue, purple, and yellow, and the iconic backwards number 3 is branded at the head of each board. As of now, all decks are available at Preduce stores, as well as on their online shop. The design of the apparel, on the other hand, has yet to be known until the official release party set for September 7th at Preduce’s Siam Square store.
