Packer Shoes x Mitchell & Ness – 1996 NBA All-Star Game Jersey – Shawn Kemp Edition Posted: 05 Aug 2013 08:30 PM PDT Part of Packer Shoes‘ “Remember the Alamo” Box Set with Reebok Classic, the Mitchell & Ness 1996 NBA All-Star Game Jersey not only celebrates the 1996 NBA All-Star Game in San Antonio’s Alamodome, it also honors one of the most overlooked NBA forwards, Shawn Kemp. With his jersey number 40, Kemp ended up on the NBA All-Star squad for six years consecutively, but it was during the 1995-96 season when Kemp and Gary Payton led the Seattle Supersonics (now OKC Thunder) to their first NBA Finals appearance. The duo also challenged Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls’ supremacy on the court, extending the Finals into a six-game series before losing. Along with the southwestern theme of turquoise and chili pepper, the limited edition jersey features a mark of authenticity from the NBA, Shawn Kemp‘s name, and his jersey #40 on the front and back. Available now exclusively through Packer Shoes in New Jersey and its online store. Packer Shoes

Nike Air Foamposite One – “305 Miami Beach” Customs | By GourmetKickz Posted: 05 Aug 2013 07:16 PM PDT This new customized Nike Air Foamposite One might just dethrone Jeremy Scott‘s creations in the category of ostentatiousness. In a boastful display of tropical floral print, sneaker customizer GourmetKickz (aka Gourmet Kickz) applied two separate vignettes, one on the medial side, the other on the lateral. With a series of gradient tones in pink and aquamarine blended into the inner lining and the shoe’s tongue mesh, GourmetKickz left the outsole in the original icy translucent colorway for contrast. Coming with matching insoles, laces, a custom box, and all-over-print t-shirt, the Nike Air Foamposite One “305 Miami Beach” Customs by GourmetKickz are now available by request at af1king.com

fragment design x Nike Lunar Force 1 | Preview Posted: 05 Aug 2013 06:08 PM PDT First launched in 2004, the fragment design x Nike Air Force 1 AP was proven to be such a runaway success among AF1 fans that Nike Sportswear re-released it in 2008 as the Nike HTM Air Force 1. Now, five years later, it seems like fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara is on the verge of launching a “follow-up.” Through numerous social media outlets, as well his own Instagram, Fujiwara “teased” the updated version of fragment design x Nike Air Force 1, now known as the fragment design x Nike Lunar Force 1. Constructed on a Nike Lunarlon sole in an off-white colorway, the design perfectly complements the brown leather upper, embossed in croc skin pattern. In conjunction to the brown leather version, Fujiwara and Nike also created a black leather on white Lunarlon variant as well. Though no official release date is available, both will likely to launch in China first through select local retailers and www.nikestore.com.cn online store.

Nike Lunar Force 1 QS – City Pack – “Shanghai” Posted: 05 Aug 2013 05:00 PM PDT After its star-studded venue last month to usher in its new initiative for Shanghai and a celebration of this city’s unique culture, Nike Sportswear continues on the theme this month with its Lunar Force 1 QS "City Pack-Shanghai.” Hinting at Shanghai’s past in the silk-like black upper and red dragon embroideries, the special Quickstrike also highlights Shanghai’s Luwan District, a neighborhood much like a crossroad between east and west, modernity and tradition. Imprinted with “LUWAN NEVER GONE310103,” the district’s name and postal code, on its insole, this special edition carries the same synergy as Luwan’s fashionable boutiques, trendsetting residents, and tree-lined grand avenues. Set for launch on Sunday, August 11th, the Nike Lunar Force 1 QS “City Pack-Shanghai” will be available through select Nike Sportswear retail locations in China, as well as its www.nikestore.com.cn online store. The special Quickstrike edition will also be available internationally at a later date this year. Nike Lunar Force 1 City QS Release Date: August 11th, 2013 (Sunday)
