PUMA x Todd James – Apparel Collection Posted: 29 Aug 2013 06:00 AM PDT We got a sneak preview of the PUMA x Todd James Fall/Winter 2013 Apparel Collection earlier this year at PROJECT Las Vegas trade show, and finally those pieces are available for purchasing. In his signature caricature style, James illustrated imaginative characters rocking PUMA gear. Aside from basic characters, James also tweaked PUMA logos and lettering, resulting in an interesting array of graphics. For starters, these items below should be already available from select PUMA outlets across the nation, and PUMA online shop in Japan. Different pieces will be dropping later in the year as more deliveries are scheduled. Hombre Nino – Fall/Winter 2013 Collection Lookbook Posted: 29 Aug 2013 05:00 AM PDT Around one full year has passed since the inception of Japanese menswear and kids wear label, Hombre Niño. Its range is expanding every season, and this Fall/Winter 2013 collection is their biggest collection yet. Hombre means man and niño means child in Spanish, a self-explanatory name as their garments are designed for both father and their son. Same materials and silhouettes are used, creating an identical look each season. This collection is themed around the notion of Retro and New, re-appropriating retro styles into a new context. CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 SP | Detailed Look Posted: 29 Aug 2013 02:00 AM PDT Scheduled to launch as a China-Only release this coming Sunday, here is a closer look at the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 SP. Partly inspired by the 2006 CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss of Death," Nike‘s first collaboration with CLOT, the Hong Kong-base creative agency, the 2013 variant features a Nike Hyperfuse design to reduce weight and an open mesh upper, in reference to its predecessor’s transparent TPU vamp. Created With inputs from CLOT’s co-owner Edison Chen and its creative team, the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 SP also includes sockliner illustration which highlights the 12 meridians, an important tenet in Chinese medicine. To further the concept, Nike added graphics of “two feet” on the footwear’s icy translucent outsoles. Finished in a light grey colorway, a nod to the Nike Sportswear‘s new Nike Tech Fleece material, a pair of embroidered wreath with the emblem from CLOT and the Chinese character “Shen” for the city of Shanghai,the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 SP will be available this Sunday, September 1st, through CLOT's JUICE Shanghai store, Nike Huahai flagship, and Nike X158 Shanghai retail concept. Reebok Shaqnosis – “Barracks” | Detailed Look Posted: 29 Aug 2013 12:00 AM PDT Just in time for back to school, Reebok Classic is getting ready to release a pair of Reebok Shaqnosis designs, including the much talked about “Barracks” edition. In the US Army‘s standard issue olive drab, the Reebok Shaqnosis “Barracks” doesn’t just honor the men and women serving in the Armed Forces, it also reflects Shaq’s childhood as a “Army Brat.” But most importantly, its a homage to Sergeant Phillip A. Harrison, a career Army Reservist who happens to be Shaquille O’Neal‘s step-father. Built tough, this cargo green iteration features a gum rubber non-marking outsole, heel and forefoot Hexalite cushioning, and a matching camouflage collar lining. To get around the ruins in this dystopian-future hellscape, you’ll want to get your hands on this Realtree x Cogburn CB4 Hunting Bike (it’s good for pre-end times hunting and fishing trips as well), featuring disc brakes and rugged 3.8-inch tires that are able to run on low pressure. The frame is fully finished in Realtree camo, while the rims, handlebar and crank are finished in no-glare anodized black. Nixon – The 48-20 Chrono P Watch Posted: 28 Aug 2013 10:00 PM PDT The 48-20 Chrono P watch from Nixon debuts in a new “Grand Prix” colorway for the season, featuring a rugged design highlighted by a silver rotating bezel, black dial and bright yellow accenting at the second hand and indices. The watch has a stainless steel case and a hardened mineral crystal, underneath which is a wide-eye 1/20th second chronograph and date counter. It’s all powered by Japanese six-hand quartz movement, and fastened with a patented locking looper on a custom molded polyurethane band with a perforated fade pattern.
