For those of us who regard summer as a season-long string of opportunities to go explore the great outdoors, MINI has unveiled a trio of cars tantamount to a campsite on wheels. The Countryman ALL4 Camper is essentially a MINI Countryman featuring a roof-mounted specialize tent, the upper half of which can simply be folded out of its storage box; the Clubvan camper is equipped with a sleeping area for one person and an extendable kitchenette complete with stove and chest fridge; and finally the Cowley caravan is built for two, appointed with a twin-ring gas stove, fridge and sink. It’s all powered by 230-volt connection and an onboard battery, which is charged using a solar module. None of the vehicles will ever make it to sale, but automotive outdoor enthusiasts can check out the images in the gallery below for inspiration.

Continuing their 15-year-plus partnership with bespoke English shoemaker Tricker’s, Ireland’s the Bureau Belfast unveils the Commando Orange Cordovan Keswick Brogue. As the name suggests, the shoe is built with premium shell cordovan in a striking orange hue, sitting on a Goodyear storm welted double sole with a dark brown rubber commando outsole. Details include four brass eyelets, leather lined interior and yellow/brown work boot laces. Made in Tricker’s Northampton factory, the brogues come with custom shoe bags and polish. Club 75 is itself a collaboration of sorts, formed by a trio of friends — celebrated DJ and producer Pedro “Busy P” Winter, La MJC founder and All Gone author Michael Dupouy, art director and illustrator So-Me — and the French brand is welcoming one more name for a new joint venture. The resulting Club 75 x Herschel Supply Co. collection is made up of the Heritage Backpack, Novel Duffle and Anchor Sleeve for 13″ and 15″ MacBook, each piece finished with a colorful leafy design created by So-Me and featuring iconic Parisian imagery. They include the Sacré Coeur, the city’s boat emblem, along with a Notre Dame gargoyle and the infamous Club 75 cat head logo, hidden somewhere among the details. A few weeks ago, we reported on the adidas by Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2013 collection and now we’ve got news on the release of the JS License Plate “South Beach, Miami” Instinct Hi sneaker, a saccharine design of pastel colors that will be available on July 26th, 2013. Definitely taking advantage of the bright, candy-colored trend of today’s scene, the pair is composed of a white leather sole and heel, while the toe box, tongue, uppers, and interiors are coated with a color-blocked mix of cotton candy pink, banana yellow, mint green, and baby blue. The city of inspiration, South Beach, Miami, is embedded into the design in the form of a license plate on the sneaker’s tongue. Of course, you can’t mention Florida without sneaking in a few palm trees, which is exactly what Jeremy Scott has done by placing a couple on the tongue and on the heel with noticeable appeal. Fresh on the heels of a collaborative “Dot” collection with Stussy, Herschel Supply Co. adds three brand new silhouettes as part of its Fall 2013 collection. The three pieces are made for the everyday traveler, each featuring a classic minimalist design and the highest quality construction. First up is the Canal messenger bag, inspired by the classic postman’s bag and built with an easily accessible main compartment, adjustable shoulder strap and external mesh water bottle pocket. The Canal is joined by a pair of backpacks: The City, featuring a simple design highlighted by a single closure with a magnetic strap and metal clip, and the Retreat, which takes its cues from the popular Little America model, showcasing a pared down version of the top loading silhouette. 2013 marks 100 years of business for Aston Martin, and Italian coachbuilder Zagato is joining in on the milestone celebrations with a pair of special one-off models based on the Aston Martin DBS and DB9. The DBS Coupé Zagato Centennial — headed to an unnamed Japanese entrepreneur — brings together sporty styling with a “Mediterranean luxury GT feel,” highlighted by a “double bubble” roof design inspired by Zagato cars from the 1950s. Its counterpart, the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial, is conceived for American car collector Peter Read, who describes the vehicle as “combining the elegance of design, typical of Zagato, with the soul, power and prestige of Aston Martin, all developed over the last 100 years.”
